
Dr Richard Morton
Senior Lecturer in Architecture at Manchester School of Architecture, leading the Infrastructure Space Atelier
Richard is a researcher whose Inclusive City work explores the intersections of architecture, emerging technologies, policy, and posthuman theory. His research focuses on how infrastructures and systems shape inclusive urban environments, using mapping and design speculation to understand spatial, ecological, and societal flows. Grounded in constructivism and transdisciplinary collaboration, Richard works closely with policymakers, technology providers, and communities. Alongside academic publications, he shares his findings through seminars, exhibitions, and public engagement to build networks and promote sustainable, inclusive cities.
